Muffler Heat Shield: Installation

Position heat shield into vehicle and tighten fasteners.
Torque:

Heat Shield-to-Body Attachment Nuts: 4 N.m (35 in-lbs)
Position muffler onto exhaust resonator pipe and install insulators.

IMPORTANT: Do not tighten clamp and crush exhaust pipe.
Install exhaust resonator pipe to muffler clamp and tighten.

Lower vehicle from hoist.
Check exhaust system for leaks.
