Adjustment Procedure

  1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
  2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
  3. Loosen the rear most window regulator bolt.
  4. Lower the window to the 3/4 down position.
  5. Push the window rearward to seat in the rear window run channel.

    Bring pressure against the rear channel.

    6. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Tighten the rear most window regulator bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  7. Inspect the window for proper operation. If binding exists, inspect all of the weatherstrips and adjust as necessary.
  8. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
  9. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
