DTC B2588: PARKLAMP Control Circuit High: Notes

The Body Control Module (BCM) activates the parklamp relay when the light senses a dark condition and when circuit 74 is active. Battery voltage is supplied to the parklamp relay through the fuse circuit located in the UHFB. The BCM provides ground to circuit 1080 to activate the parklamp relay for two conditions if the headlamp switch is moved to the parklamp position and if in the ALC mode. If the parklamp relay control circuit 1080 is shorted to battery DTC B2588 will fail.
