DTC B2587: PARKLAMP Control Circuit Low: Notes

The Body Control Module (BCM) activates the parklamp relay when the light senses a dark condition. Battery voltage is supplied to the parklamp relay through the fuse circuit located in the IPB. The BCM provides ground to circuit 1080 to activate the parklamp relay for two conditions if the headlamp switch is moved to the parklamp position and if in the ALC mode. If the parklamp relay control circuit 1080 is shorted to ground or open DTC B2587 will fail as current.
