Front Shoulder Belt Guide: Removal

Move front seat to forward position.
Remove carpet retainer molding in area surrounding center pillar lower molding by pulling at attaching clip locations.

Using a trim tool, remove outside center pillar weatherstrip.

CAUTION: Care must be taken not to drop fasteners in center pillar structure.
Remove shoulder belt height adjuster fasteners.

CAUTION: Care must be taken not to drop fasteners in center pillar structure.
Remove shoulder belt retractor fastener access plug.
Remove shoulder belt retractor fastener.

CAUTION: Upper and lower moldings will stay attached to each other while being removed.

CAUTION: Shoulder belt assembly and height adjuster unit will stay attached to the center pillar upper and lower moldings when the moldings are removed.
Starting at the top, gently pull on center pillar upper molding to disengage attaching clips.
Remove B-pillar molding plug and fastener.
Pull on center pill lower molding to disengage attaching clips.
