Transaxle Position Switch (A/T): Installation

  1. Install transaxle position switch. Tighten transaxle position switch bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Install transaxle control lever. Tighten transaxle control lever nut to specification.
  2. Install shift control cable. Ensure engine starts only in Park or Neutral position. If engine starts in any other position, adjust transaxle range switch. See TRANSAXLE POSITION SWITCH (A/T)  under ADJUSTMENTS. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
