Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT CAUTION
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement .
  3. Remove the SIR coil. Refer to SIR COIL ASSEMBLY

  4. Remove the upper and lower shrouds. Refer to Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement

  5. Depress the lock tabs on the left and right multi-function levers. Remove the multi-function levers.

  6. Disconnect the housing electrical connectors.

  7. Remove the housing form the steering column.
