Installation Procedure

  1. Install the recirculation actuator assembly onto the door shaft.

    The shaft has 2 flats that must be aligned to the actuator.

    2. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTIC in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the recirculation actuator bracket to HVAC module screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 1 N.m (9 lb in).

  3. Connect the recirculation actuator electrical connector.

  4. Install the right side heater duct assembly.
  5. Install the right side heater duct assembly retainer.
  6. Install the I/P compartment. Refer to Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  7. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PROCEDURE in Battery.
