Code Enable Criteria

• Vehicle speed is zero MPH.
• Engine is at idle.
• Engine load is less than 35 percent.
• MAP is more than 40 kPa.
• Battery voltage is more than 11 volts.
• ECT at start-up is 46-167°F (8°C to 75°C).
• IAT is 46-122°F (8-50°C)
• Long term fuel cells not cleared (if cleared, engine must run longer than 16 minutes 45 seconds.
• Fuel level is 1.3-12.7 gallons.
• Altitude is less than 9842 feet.
• No battery voltage, ECM internal fault, ECT, EGR, EVAP purge control, fuel tank pressure, HO2S, IAC, MAP, misfire, TP or VSS DTCs are set.

DTC sets when vacuum decay is more than calibrated amount for a certain length of time due to a small leak.
