Final Drive Assembly: Reassembly

  1. Assemble differential side gears and thrust washers into case. Set thrust washers onto pinion gears. Assemble pinion gears and washers into case. See Fig 2 .
  2. Slide cross pin through both pinion gears for alignment, and then remove pin. Rotate side gears into position, and then install cross pin. Tap cross pin locking pin into position. Install side bearings to differential, if removed.
