Code Enable Criteria

Engine speed is 562-5500 RPM.
ECT is greater than 20°F (-7°C). If ECT is less than 20°F (-7°C), PCM will wait until ECT is greater than 68°F (20°C).
Ignition voltage is 8-18 volts.
Fuel level is greater than one gallon (3.8L).
Crank Learn must be YES. If Crank Learn is NO, engine run time must be greater than 20 seconds to enable misfire.
No 5-volt reference, CMP, CKP, fuel trim, IAC valve, IAT, MAP, TP or vehicle speed DTCs are set.

DTC sets when specific or random cylinder misfires have been detected after a series of 200 revolution tests.
