Test D: Front Washer Pump Inoperative, Wiper Motor Operates
- Disconnect washer pump connector. Connect test light between Pink wire and Black wire at washer pump connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Move wiper/washer switch to WASH position. If test light does not illuminate, go to next step. If test light illuminates, replace washer pump. See WASHER PUMP under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Connect test light between Pink wire at washer pump connector and ground. Move wiper/washer switch to WASH position. If test light does not illuminate, go to next step. If test light illuminates, repair open in Black wire between washer pump and ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect wiper motor/control module 5-pin connector. Check for continuity in Pink wire between wiper motor/control module and washer pump. If continuity does not exist, repair open in Pink wire. If continuity exists, replace wiper motor/control module. See FRONT WIPER MOTOR/CONTROL MODULE under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
