Circuit Description
The BTSI solenoid is energized by the BCM switching circuit No. 1135 (Dark Green/White wire) to ground while ignition switch is in RUN or CRANK position. When not energized, the BTSI solenoid will allow shifting from Park. A condition for shifting from Park is that the foot brake must be applied. The BCM receives the stoplamp switch status from the PCM over the class 2 data link. The BTSI solenoid will allow shifting from Park when ignition switch is in the ACC position without a brake pedal input. The BCM also monitors circuit No. 339 (Pink wire) input to determine if the ignition switch is in the RUN or CRANK position.
