Preliminary Checks

- If power accessory circuit breaker opens whenever power seat switch is operated, check circuits for a short to ground. Remove and inspect fuses. Check for good, clean ground connections. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment.
- Check for broken or partially broken wire inside of insulation, which could cause system malfunction but prove good in a continuity/voltage check with system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded. Check by monitoring for voltage drop with system under load. If problem exists, repair as necessary.
