Circuit Description

Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor is used for fuel delivery, spark timing and misfire diagnosis. CKP relearn procedures can be performed using scan tool if no current/history misfire counts on any cylinder exists. DTC will set if crankshaft position variation has not been learned and vehicle speed is greater than 15 MPH.
