Circuit Description

ECM controls the 2 cooling fans via 2 internal low-side drivers. Both of these control circuits are monitored continuously. DTC will set if ECM detects a higher or lower than expected voltage, or senses an open on fan relay No. 1 circuit and with engine speed greater than 40 RPM and battery voltage between 7.5-15.0 volts.
