Installation (M/T Models)

NOTE: When fuel lines have been disconnected, NEW plastic retainers must be installed.
  1. Install NEW suspension support cage nuts into body. Install 4 NEW frame-to-body bolts, DO NOT tighten bolts at this time. Install suspension supports using NEW bolts. Tighten all frame bolts. Install ball joints using NEW nuts. Install stabilizer bar using NEW nuts. Install NEW tie rod-to-steering knuckle nuts.
  2. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Prior to reconnecting fuel lines, install NEW retainers into fuel line female cavity. Reconnect fuel lines by firmly pressing female fitting onto male fitting until a click is heard. Pull back on fitting to confirm engagement. Ensure fuel lines are routed properly. Bleed cooling system. See COOLING SYSTEM BLEEDING . Bleed power steering system. See POWER STEERING BLEEDING .
