Clutch Assembly: Installation

Install clutch disc and pressure plate with Yellow mark on pressure plate aligned as close to mark on flywheel as possible. Install Clutch Disc Aligner (SA9145T) through clutch disc until tool bottoms out in crankshaft. See Fig 1 .
Tighten pressure plate bolts in a crisscross pattern to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table. Remove clutch disc aligner. Lube release fork pivot point with high-temperature grease. Install release bearing. Install release fork. Run tap through ignition module mounting holes to remove thread sealant, use NEW bolts to install electronic ignition module. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
NOTE: Cradle-to-body alignment holes are at front mount locations. Use 9/16" steel rod for alignment pins. Guide mount studs into holes in cradle as cradle is installed.
