Clearing Trouble Codes

Current codes will be cleared when ignition is turned off. Malfunction history (past) codes will clear after 100 ignition cycles if fault does not reoccur. Both types of codes can be cleared with scan tool. Disconnecting battery has no effect on stored past codes, but will clear current codes.
