Passenger-Side Inflator Module: Removal

  1. Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM  . Disconnect passenger air bag harness.
  2. Remove glove box door stops and let glove box door hang down. Remove screws from glove box compartment and striker. Remove glove box assembly by pulling rearward at clip locations.
  3. Remove screws and passenger side inflator module. See Fig 1 .
