Service Engine Soon Indicator

The SERVICE ENGINE SOON indicator comes on as a bulb check when ignition is turned on. The indicator is controlled by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). If indicator remains on while driving, a problem may exist with the engine control system, emission control system or automatic transaxle. Indicator will remain on until ignition is turned off or malfunction is repaired.
