Passenger Compartment Discriminating Sensor: Removal

Before proceeding, follow air bag service precautions. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONS. Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
Passenger compartment discriminating sensor is located under instrument panel, to right of steering column. Remove CPA clip and disconnect electrical connector. Remove passenger compartment discriminating sensor bolts and sensor. See Fig 1 .
