Cruise Control Cable

NOTE: Cruise control cable and adjuster assembly are not repairable or replaceable. DO NOT attempt to remove cable and adjuster from cruise module. Damage to cruise module could result.
  1. Remove air intake tube at throttle body. Observe position of throttle plate. Adjust cable by pulling forward and turning ring on adjuster until throttle blade is fully closed. Loosen ring 1/2 turn (2-3 clicks).
  2. With throttle plate closed (throttle position sensor at 0 percent), adjust cruise control cable to .040-.079" (1-2 mm) of cable free play. See Fig 1 . Install air intake tube.
