Removal (Passenger-Side)

  1. Before proceeding, follow air bag service precautions. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONS. Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
  2. Remove instrument panel carrier assembly. Remove CPA clip and disconnect electrical connector from inflator module. Remove fasteners from module and remove module. See Fig 1 .
