Excessive Wiper Motor Noise Test

Check that wiper module/motor mounting bolts are not overtightened, no more than 89 INCH lbs. (10 N.m). This will cause excessive friction on wiper blades. If okay, check circuits, connections and terminals connected to wiper module. Repair as needed. If noise still exists, replace wiper module/motor assembly. Verify that system operates quietly with new components.
