Brake System Warning Light

BRAKE warning light indicates that either the parking brake is engaged or there is a malfunction in the dual brake system. Light should come on briefly as a bulb check with ignition switch in ON position; it should go out after engine is started and parking brake is released. If light remains on, low brake fluid level is indicated.
