Installation Procedure

Assemble the fuel system as follows:

1. Install the fuel injectors and fuel rail. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement - Bank 1 (LF1, LFW)  and FUEL INJECTION FUEL RAIL ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT - BANK 2 (LF1, LFW) .
2. Install the fuel module assemblies. Refer to PRIMARY FUEL TANK MODULE REPLACEMENT (NA3, NE9, NF9)  or PRIMARY FUEL TANK MODULE REPLACEMENT (NT7, NU5)  and SECONDARY FUEL TANK MODULE REPLACEMENT .
3. If required, install the fuel filter.
4. Refer to METAL COLLAR QUICK CONNECT FITTING SERVICE  in order to connect the following quick connect fittings to the fuel rail:

• The feed hose/pipe
• The return hose/pipe
