Preliminary Procedures Remove the battery cover. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION AND CONNECTION Remove the engine control module. Refer to ENGINE CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT Remove the front compartment fuse block. Refer to FRONT COMPARTMENT FUSE BLOCK REPLACEMENT .
1	Battery Retainer Fastener Tighten 10 Nm (89 lb in).
