To fit

  1. Position the battery and slide it rearwards until the rear edge is fixed in place.
  2. Fit the lock lug (C).
    IMPORTANT: Check that the battery is properly secured.

  3. Attach the battery cables:
    • Attach the positive battery cable (B)
    • Attach the negative battery cable (A).
      IMPORTANT: Cars with OnStar:  The battery clamp must be fitted so that no part of it extends in front of the battery.
    • Attach the battery drain hose.
  4. Fit the battery cover .
  5. Carry out Procedures  after disconnecting the battery.
