SIR WARNING WARNING: All cars are equipped with an airbag system that has side airbags as a component. The side airbag is fitted under the backrest upholstery on each front seat. Work in accordance with the SAFETY AND HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS, AIRBAG SYSTEM . Preliminary Procedure Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR DISABLING AND ENABLING . Remove the battery negative cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION AND CONNECTION . Raise and drive the seat forward to the highest position.

4	Position Sensor Procedure Remove the clip with the help of a screwdriver. Remove the fastener. Disconnect the connector. Remove the sensor from the bracket.
