Circuit/System Verification

  1. Clear the DTCs with a scan tool.
  2. Allow the engine to reach the normal operating temperature.
  3. Idle the engine for 10 minutes or until a DTC sets. Check the DTC Info with a scan tool. Diagnostic trouble codes P0008 and P0009 must not be activated.
  4. Operate the vehicle within the conditions for running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
