To remove

IMPORTANT:

Scrupulous cleanliness must always be observed during all work with hydraulic components.

Drain the power steering fluid reservoir, using oil suction equipment.
Undo and lift aside the reservoir.

Clean carefully around the return hose connection to the power steering fluid reservoir.
Remove the return hose from the power steering fluid reservoir.
Raise the car.
Diesel: Remove the lower engine cover.

LHD: Cut off the cable tie holding the return line to the steering gear.
Place a receptacle under the car and remove the return hose from the steering servo.
