Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
  2. Remove the Outside Rearview Mirror (ORVM) harness from the door.

  3. Remove the side door insulator.
    4. Fig 2: Removing/Installing ORVM & Retaining Bolts

  4. Remove the 3 ORVM retaining bolts.
  5. Release the clip that retains the ORVM to the door.
  6. Remove the ORVM assembly from the door.
