  1. Washer fluid see WASHER FLUID RESERVOIR , top up
  2. Battery see BATTERY CHECK - 2006 or BATTERY CHECK - 2007 , check
  3. Main fuse 1 see MAIN FUSE BOARD 22A IN THE DASHBOARD , insert
  4. DICE/TWICE fuse 5 see MAIN FUSE BOARD 22A IN THE DASHBOARD , insert
  5. Anti-theft alarm see ANTI-THEFT ALARM FITTING KIT (2006) or THEFT PROTECTION -- KIT INSTALLATION (2007) .
  6. SE and FI:  Child seat labels
  7. Not US or CA:  Blanking-off washers on driver and luggage compartment locks, fit
  8. Saab Information Display: see SAAB INFORMATION DISPLAY (SID) (2006) or SAAB INFORMATION DISPLAY (2007) set the clock, program the SID.
  9. ACC unit Program see ACC UNIT (2006) or ACC UNIT (2007) .
  10. Wash-wipe system see WASHER NOZZLES, HEADLAMPS (2006) or WASHER NOZZLES, HEADLAMPS (2007)
  11. Tyre pressure see RECOMMENDED TIRE PRESSURE , check/adjust (including spare wheel)
  12. Oil and fluid levels see LUBRICATING SYSTEM , check, inspect for leaks, top up. Engine, automatic transmission and power steering POWER STEERING FLUID .
  13. Coolant and fluid levels see FILLING AND BLEEDING THE COOLING SYSTEM , check, inspect for leaks, top up. Cooling system, brake and clutch systems.
  14. Battery cover see BATTERY CHECK - 2006 or BATTERY CHECK - 2007 , fit
  15. Underbody see EXTERIOR (BODY) , jack up the car and inspect for transit damage.
    NOTE:

    The corrosion protection must be intact

  16. Brake disc transit protection see BRAKE DISC, FRONT WHEEL , remove (certain markets only)
  17. Cars with sports chassis: Transit support see SPRINGS , remove
  18. Bolted joints see TIGHTENING TORQUES , retighten.
  19. Fit wheel bolt cap see FITTING WHEEL BOLT CAPS (in glove box).
  20. European market:  Place "Certificate of Conformity" in customer's service booklet.
  21. :Not US, CA or PA markets  Number plates with spacer rings, fit
  22. TWICE control module see CONTROL MODULE (2006) or ,CONTROL MODULE (2007) .
  23. Diagnostic trouble codes see TABLE OF DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (2006) or TABLE OF DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (2007) delete from all control modules
  24. Road test
  25. SE, US and CA: Diagnostic trouble codes, after road test, make sure that no further diagnostic trouble codes have been detected by the engine and automatic transmission control systems.
  26. US/CA: Check that the cover of the data link connector is securely in place.
  27. Final removal and finishing measures see EXTERIOR (BODY) , cleaning
    WARNING:

    Lengthy and repeated contact with mineral oil removes the natural oils from your skin, drying it out and causing irritation. If oil has been swallowed, do not provoke vomiting. Call a doctor.
