To remove

IMPORTANT: Take care not to damage the roof unit.
  1. Remove the headlining. See HEADLINING, 4D, US/CA or HEADLINING, 5D ..

  2. Remove the clips. Use nippers to cut the clips.
  3. Unplug the connectors from the roof unit.

  4. Undo the wiring harness, movement detector, temperature sensor and microphone from the roof unit holder.
  5. Lift out the roof unit.
