Valve housing: Fitting

IMPORTANT: Automatic transmission up to and including 02GV 706486  : The wiring harness must also be changed when changing the valve housing so it suits the new one.
  1. Lift the valve housing into position.
    NOTE: Carefully move the selector lever's arm into place and fit the valve housing on the transmission.

  2. Fit the valve housing.

    Tightening torque 7 Nm (5 lbf ft) 

    NOTE: The bolts are different lengths.
  3. Plug in the solenoids and fit the temperature sensor.
  4. Fit the VALVE HOUSING COVER .
