"Current Status"

A number is displayed here which indicates which stage the diagnostic procedure is in. If the number is 130 or lower then no fault has yet been detected in the ignition discharge module.

The following P trouble codes can block diagnosis: P0171, P0172, P0336, P0337, P1171, P1172, P1181, P1182, P1310, P1320 and P1460. Diagnosis is also blocked if the coolant temperature is less than 15°C (59 °F). If any of the trouble codes above are found, an ordinary fault diagnosis should be carried out.



CURRENT STATUS

Value Meaning
0 The diagnosis has not yet begun during this driving cycle
1-19 Conditions for the diagnosis before starter motor cranking is begun are not fulfilled:
1=P trouble code stored (according to list of ignition cassette trouble codes above)
2= Fuel shut-off
3= Coolant temperature too low
4= Battery voltage too low
5= Number of P trouble codes is 6 or more (applies to all P trouble codes)
20 Conditions for the diagnosis before starter motor cranking are fulfilled:
21-39 The diagnosis is interrupted during starter motor cranking:
21=P trouble code stored (according to list of ignition cassette trouble codes above)
22= Fuel shut-off
23= Coolant temperature too low 24= Battery voltage too low
25= Number of P trouble codes is 6 or more (applies to all P trouble codes)
26= Starter motor cranking interrupted too early
40 The engine has not started. No faults detected in the ignition discharge module. Another fault, e.g. fuel system, is preventing engine start
50 The engine has started. So far no faults detected in the ignition discharge module
51-69 Conditions for the diagnosis before synchronization are not fulfilled:
51=P trouble code stored (according to list of ignition cassette trouble codes above)
52= Fuel shut-off
53= Coolant temperature too low
54= Battery voltage too low
55= Number of P trouble codes is 6 or more (applies to all P trouble codes)
70 Conditions for the diagnosis before synchronization are fulfilled. So far no faults detected in the ignition discharge module
71-89 The diagnosis is interrupted during synchronization:
71=P trouble code stored (according to list of ignition cassette trouble codes above)
72= Fuel shut-off
73= Coolant temperature too low
74= Battery voltage too low
75= Number of P trouble codes is 6 or more (applies to all P trouble codes)
90 The engine is synchronized. So far no faults detected in the ignition discharge module.
91-109 Conditions for the diagnosis after synchronization are not fulfilled:
91=P trouble code stored (according to list of ignition cassette trouble codes above)
92= Fuel shut-off
93= Coolant temperature too low
94= Battery voltage too low
95= Number of P trouble codes is 6 or more (applies to all P trouble codes)
96= Evaluation of misfiring not yet begun
110 Conditions for the diagnosis after synchronization are fulfilled. So far no faults detected in the ignition discharge module
111-129 The diagnosis is interrupted after synchronization:
111=P trouble code stored (according to list of ignition cassette trouble codes above)
112= Fuel shut-off
113= Coolant temperature too low
114= Battery voltage too low
115= Number of P trouble codes is 6 or more (applies to all P trouble codes)
130 All diagnoses processed. So far no faults detected in the ignition discharge module.
131- Fault detected
