| Pxxx | This indicates whether diagnostics is complete and whether it has reported a fault or OK. If a fault has been reported, it is possible to see it straight away without having to wait for the dependents, which must be OK before the diagnostic trouble codes can be read. Test values and limits for the 5 latest diagnostics are also shown. | There is an instruction in the final check for certain diagnostic procedures to select the current diagnostic trouble code + "ENTER". The criteria for the diagnosis are then fulfilled as instructed in the diagnostic procedure. The text "Not Ready" will then change to "OK" or a diagnostic trouble code. If a trouble code number is displayed, it cannot be read in the conventional way. First, all the dependents for the current diagnosis must be OK. Freeze Frame data, however, is stored at the time the code is displayed here. Test values and limits from the latest 5 diagnostics are also shown. The test values can be used to see how close the value has been to a limit. Note that each diagnosis can give up to three different test values. |
