Adjusting The Accelerator Pedal Cable.

  1. Remove the engine cover.

  2. Undo the cable adjuster clip.
  3. Adjust the free play in the cable by holding the pedal arm in the fully spring-loaded return position with one hand while moving the cable towards a taut position with the other hand. Then, slacken it to the nearest groove on the sleeve.
  4. Fit the clip.
