To remove

Before removing the control module to change it, perform PROCEDURES BEFORE CHANGING THE CONTROL MODULE .

1. Remove the turbo delivery hose and glow plug relay.

   IMPORTANT: Take care when releasing the locking mechanism on the connector so as not to damage the connector. Pull the halves straight apart to avoid bending the pins.
2. Pull out the lock pin, press down the lock and unplug the control module connector.

3. Put the gear selector in position P and undo the nut to the lever. Engage position N before removing the lever.

4. Remove the lever. Pull back the gear cable and lift it up.
5. Remove the bolts securing the control module.
6. Lift the control module off the shaft and connector. Lift straight up to avoid damaging the connector on the gearbox.
