4D:  The seatbelt system comprises two front seatbelts and three rear seatbelts. All belts are of the three-point variety. The front seatbelts have belt pretensioners.

CV:  The seatbelt system comprises two seatbelts integrated in the front seats and two rear seatbelts. All belts are of the three-point variety. All seatbelts have belt pretensioners. The belt pretensioners tension the belt straps in the event of a collision, which reduces the forward movement of the body.

The driver receives a seat -belt warning in the main instrument panel and in the SID (Saab Information Display) which monitors seat-belt locking. The passenger receives an SID seat-belt warning.
