Check Harness Between TCM And Combination Meter

Turn the ignition switch to OFF.

Disconnect the connector from TCM and combination meter.

Measure the resistance between TCM harness connector and combination meter harness connector.

Connector & terminal 

Saab 9-2X 2.5i Linear: 

(B55) No. 13 - (i11) No. 2: 

Saab 9-2X 2.0T Aero: 

(B56) No. 17 - (i11) No. 2: 

Is the resistance less than 10 O? 

YES 

Check the speed meter.

NO 

Repair the wiring harness.
