The principal use of the main instrument unit is to display:
- Vehicle speed
- Odometer and tripmeter readings
- Engine speed
- Coolant temperature
- Fuel level
- Turbo boost gauge
- Warning and indicator lights
The main instrument unit calculates the following:
- Tank level
- Sums up and stores driven distance
