To remove
- Open the bonnet.
- Raise the car to a suitable work height.
- Remove the center grille as follows:
- 3.A. Lift it slightly to loosen the bottom.
- 3.B. Pull it forward and down so that the spring clips loosen.
- Remove the side grille from the back by bending up the lower clips so that they loosen. Lift away the side grille.
- Remove the battery cover.
- Loosen the direction indicator lamp by pressing the catch down. Unplug the connector and remove the lamp.
- Remove the protective cover of the bulb to facilitate removal. Remove the screws and loosen the clip in the front wing.
Lift out the headlamp slightly to facilitate lamp connector removal. Unplug the connector and lift out the headlamp.
- Remove the screws holding the bumper shell to the bumper member.
- Remove the washer nozzle with protective cover by pressing in the clips on both sides with two small chisels. Press the clip down so that it releases and the nozzle can be removed. The refit the clip on the nozzle.IMPORTANT: Check that the clip locks correctly. If not, use a new clip.
- Remove the screws holding the bumper shell to the wing liners.
- Remove the spoiler shield screws. Bend the bottom of the bumper shell down and remove the spoiler shield.
- Remove the clips.
- Unplug the connectors for the temperature sensor and the fog lights, if fitted.
- First loosen the outer corners of both sides of the bumper so that they release from the wing and wing liner.
- Loosen the bumper from the side and pull out the 6 tabs from the attachments.NOTE: When replacing the bumper shell, the spoiler, number plate, protective mouldings, cell block, the fog light (if any) and the lower grille must be transferred to the new bumper shell.
