System overview
The gearbox is designed for front wheel drive and built together with the engine into one unit. The power train is in a transverse position which provides good cooling as well as causing the power to the drive wheels to be transferred in the shortest possible way. The positioning also contributes to a compact engine bay. The gearbox is 5-speed and all gears are synchronized. The gearbox is filled with oil at manufacture and requires no oil changes.
