Center Console: Installation

  1. Insert the center console by maneuvering it in downwards and forwards.
  2. Clip in the air duct mounting at the rear of the center console. Make sure that the locating lugs go down into their respective holes.
  3. Check that the console aligns with the center panel. If necessary adjust lengthways and vertically using the bolts at the front and rear. See Figure.
  4. Install and tighten the center console screws, replace the rubber mat in the storage box.
  5. Plug in the parking brake and ignition switch connectors. See Figure.
  6. Replace the cover under the parking brake lever.
  7. Install the cover on the passenger side.
  8. Install the boot and the cover on the gear lever housing.
  9. Install the rear side panels to the center console.
  10. Install the rear cover of the center console by pushing it straight in.
  11. Install the forward side panels to the center console.
