Cable Adjuster

NOTE:
Before adjusting the cable adjuster, the parking brake shoes must be adjusted. See PARKING BRAKE SHOES
.
- Apply the parking brake 2 notches.
- Raise the car.
- Tighten the nut on the pull rod until the parking brake starts to act. See Fig 1 .
- Lower the car slightly.
- Release and then apply the parking brake once again. The wheels must be locked at 3-6 notches.
- Lower the car and check the parking brake function.
