To remove

  1. Take the front seat out of the car.
    WARNING: Manual front seat, easy entry:  Do not release the legroom adjustment handle when the seat has been removed from the car as the seat rail could then spring rearwards and cause injury.

    Legroom adjustment will be affected if the backrest is tipped forward.

  2. Remove the height adjustment handle, the knob for backrest rake adjustment and the seat side panel.
  3. Remove the plastic cover on each side of the backrest joint.

    The plastic covers conceal the holes for access to the screws holding the seat at the rear.

  4. Undo the seat cushion at the rear, 2 screws.

    The screws are inside the hole concealed by the plastic cover, now removed.

  5. Undo the seat cushion at the front, 2 screws.
  6. Undo the straps holding the backrest upholstery at the bottom.
  7. Cut the cable ties. Unplug and mark the connector.

    Lift out the seat.

  8. Front seat, easy entry:  Unhook the easy-entry cable.
  9. Remove the backrest, 2 screws each side.
  10. Remove the seat-belt buckle, 1 screw and cable tie.
  11. Electrically adjustable front seat; Remove legroom adjustment motors and sensors  .

Remove motor and sensor for height adjustment front.
