Switch in windscreen frame latch: Diagnostics

If the soft top is locked to the windscreen frame and an attempt is made to operate the roof, the control module sends bus messages "Sound" and "Text information ", whereby SID sounds an acoustic signal at the same time as it displays "CHECK SOFT TOP LATCHES ".

If the soft top is not locked and the car is driven at speeds exceeding 10 km/h, the control module sends bus messages "Sound" and "Text information ", whereby SID sounds an acoustic signal at the same time as it displays "CHECK SOFT TOP LATCHES".
