Adjustment - Replacement: Relay: Fitting

  1. Fit the relay.
  2. Fit the relay holder.
  3. Connect the diagnostic tool and program the relay. See the menu "Programming " TECH 2 MENU STRUCTURE. .
    IMPORTANT: Never have more than one unprogrammed relay in the car. If more than one unprogrammed relay is fitted in the car both will receive the same address.
    If more than one relay has to be replaced, first fit and program one relay, then fit and program the next relay. This procedure is to prevent two relays from getting the same address.
  4. Then note the position of the relay.
  5. Refit the side upholstery.
  6. Erase any diagnostic trouble codes.
